Second day of riding
Monday the 14th.
Rode from Riverside CA to Indio CA.
We rode through Palm Springs, and the temp was 100 degrees. I don't know why anyone would want to live here. Obviously we are in the desert now and will be for 2 more days. Had 3 mile climb the first thing this morning and a five mile climb at about 10 AM.
The next 2 desert days will be tough, as tomorrow will be a 100 mile ride, and Wednesday will be a 115 mile ride. It looks like Wednesday will have some impressive big climbs.
I my not write this blog the next two days because they will be tough ones. I have some serious riding to do and will need to set my priorities streight. Think of me like those astronuts who went around the dark side of the moon and everyone held their breath to see if the came back from the dark side ok.
