Just the stats: 118 miles, 17.42 MPH average. Started riding at 7:50 am, finished at 3:15 pm - 6 hours 52 minutes riding time. Sunny, 57 degrees in the morning warming up to 83 degrees by 3 pm. Humidity around 57*. Calories burned on the ride - 6,875. My average heart rate during this ride was 118 bpm.

This is Tom, Ty and Gordon. Ty announced the is leaving the tour because of injuries and poison ivy. Ty, Gordon and I rode a lot of miles together - we will miss the fun we had together.

I decided to carry my camera. I wanted to let you see the roads we are riding on. 55 mph divided highways with two foot shoulders at times, not shoulder at other times.

We rode through Myrtle Beach around 8 to 9 am. The bikers hadn't gotten up yet so we got through town without a problem. There were literally thousands of motor cycles parked as we rode by.

We got to Charleston around 3 pm, it was hot - 83*.
This was a long day - the most I have ridden in one day. I feel good, had a good post ride meal, and I am going to bed at 9 pm. I have another 79 miles tomorrow.

its good to know about it? where did you get that information?
Your photo at the end of the day shows how long and tiring it was, but you still had a smile on your face! Keep pedaling - the goal is almost in sight! See you soon.
Love,
Evie
